Cells Implanted for Macular Degeneration Recovery Proven to Survive at Least Two Years
Many people suffer from eyesight issues due to age. With this new research, it has been proven that implanted stem cells can survive for at least two years in a new host. In this study there were no clinical signs of rejection, which is very promising to the future of cells as a viable treatment for macular degeneration.
