Bone Marrow Derived Stem Cell Injections Lead to Improvements in Motor Functions of Patients with Spinal Cord Injuries

At Yale University, there was a research project with neuroscientists in which intravenous injections of these stem cells were used to treat patients with non-penetrating spinal cord injuries. Over half returned results with improvements in their key functions, with no significant side effects. This is a wonderful development that could prove promising cell treatment for many people.
