Stem Cells Could Help to Treat Brain Damage in Newborns
Researchers are now looking to discover a feasible and safe way to treat neurodevelopmental disabilities in newborns, using stem cells derived from bone marrow. This study demonstrated that this administration caused no serious adverse events in patients up to three months and offers promising results for further studies at a larger scale.
